In 2020, the Diabolo Baby playground multiplay range won the International Good Design Award. This is because it displayed unique innovations in designing play equipment to meet the requirements of babies and toddlers. This includes encouraging early learning and guiding children through a sequence of activities that stimulate their motor and fine motor skills. This is all achieved while also considering the social needs of young children such as supporting role-play and interaction with playmates.
A multiplay structure should cater to a wide variety of age-appropriate play features to create a fully stimulating playground environment. Therefore, the activities in the DIabolo baby range all take place at ground level or at a maximum height of 60 cm. Additionally, all play elements are varied, appropriate, scalable, and modular, meaning these structures are suitable for any size or shape play area.
