Introducing Proludic’s latest project at Grange Park play area in Loughborough. A great new park for the local community in the new housing development.
Having worked with this Midlands-based housebuilder before, Proludic was heavily involved from the early stages of initial play area designs through to the implementation of the equipment. Proludic provided its expertise to successfully pass these spaces through planning stages with the local authority.
The focal point for the Grange Park play area is the multiplay unit from Proludic’s popular nature-inspired Kanope range. This play structure can accommodate 23 children at any one time. The design chose a wood-effect finish as the timber effect panels because they were best to blend in with surrounding nature and rustic-style houses close to the development.
Additionally, the team installed an inclusive pod swing and stylish helicopter springer for toddlers along with a grass mat surface to bind the natural surface together and complete the nature-inspired theme.
I was proud of what Proludic achieved on this development as not only did we specify a scheme that remains sympathetic to the natural location where the development sits, but also got it through planning seamlessly with our choice of natural-looking equipment.
