The SLCC Regional Roadshow is your local forum for training and networking, developed to help you better serve the community you represent. The Llandrindod Wells show is a joint event with One Voice Wales and will be thought provoking, interactive and engaging, giving you the opportunity to hear and discuss best practice and meet with other professionals about current issues affecting the sector.

2015 Regional Roadshow programme includes:
- Branch networking session: Meet your local branch and discuss local current issues.
- Legal and Employment briefings: An excellent opportunity to discuss recent changes in the sector and examine how these impact on the powers, duties and procedures of parish, town and community councils.
- Neighbourhood Development Plans: A case studies session from the Neighbourhood Development Planning team at the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), with practical advice on how to effectively engage your community with your plan.
- Masterplanning in Calne: Linda Roberts FILCM, Clerk to Calne Town Council in Wiltshire, shares her experience of the intensive consultation exercise with the Calne community to create a masterplan for the town’s future development.
