Strict requirements to guarantee user safety
Play and sports equipment designers, manufacturers, installation companies, and operators have to conform to Standards of Play Safety. They are all required to comply with many of the regulations governing safety for playgrounds and sports areas. European standards and national regulations must be applied to the equipment, installation, surfacing and maintenance of public playgrounds that are designed for individual or collective use.
Proludic is constantly focused on raising the safety levels on its equipment, playgrounds, and sports areas. Therefore, Proludic satisfies the requirements of all applicable industry standards throughout the value chain. We apply this conformity standard across designing, developing, and manufacturing products through to installing and maintaining equipment.
- All Proludic products meet the safety requirements stipulated in (European Norms Safety Standards) EN 1176 for playground equipment. They also meet EN 15312 for multi-sports equipment. Products also adhere to EN 16630 standards for outdoor gym equipment.
- All Proludic playgrounds also meet safety standards EN 1177 ‘Impact Attenuating Surfacing’ and EN 1176-7 on playground equipment and surfacing.
Equipment Tested by an Independent Quality Control Laboratory for Standards of Play Safety
To reassure clients that equipment is completely safe and reliable, Proludic uses the independent laboratory TÜV to inspect and test play equpment This lab issues a certificate to confirm that it complies with European standards. Proludic’s certificates of conformity are available to its clients’ on request.
